Just thought of you tonight after meeting somebody from Denmark.
Hope you are well. Sounds like you are!
Since you left a comment in my blog about how interesting it is to discuss about the interaction between the Danes and the foreigners, I wonder if you have read Sabine’s (from deixis) note titled Danes – the manual? (it’s in Danish). She summed everything up quite good
I am reading your blog with great interest as my partner and I are considering re-locating to CPH and are trying to prepare. It is amazing how most foreigners have the exact same experience in Denmark with regards to the culture and people. A Danish friend told us, “People will be polite to you in the street, but you will never get invited over for dinner.”
